I went to Junior School with Steve and played various sports with him as a young lad. I then played against him when we went to Senior School and then realised what a gifted sportsman he was. I haven’t seen him for a long number of years and was not aware of his illness. My sincere condolences go to his family and may Steve now rest in peace free of pain.
